Birgu and the Great Siege
The Turkish armada arrived in Malta on the 18th of May, 1565. The first battle took place on the 19th of May. FAA is marking these dates and is ready to take you right back in time to where it all began with an exploration of Birgu with Vince Zammit. Following a series of engaging and exciting tours with FAA in the past months, Vince Zammit and FAA are ready to mark the anniversary of the Great Siege itself. Amongst the places we visit, we shall see where Grandmaster de Valette himself held the breach to save Malta. Join us as we take you to the historic heart of the Knights of St. John in Malta, and relive one of the greatest sieges in all of history.
