Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar in collaboration with the Floriana Local Council is organising a talk on pruning methods and other arboricultural techniques and on common gardening problems – pests and diseases, delivered by arboricultural consultant Ian Lansley.
Ian Lansley is an international arboricultural (tree) consultant and lecturer. He was formerly in charge of the care of the trees on the Queen’s estates, including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Highgrove House and Buckingham Palace. Ian Lansley has wide experience all over the world and has worked on several projects in Malta. His practical approach to the care of trees and gardening in general has been of great help to many who have attended his lectures in Malta and overseas.
The 1 hour talk will be followed by a walk around a nearby public garden where the themes presented will be reinforced by practical examples.
